Glorify God. Make Disciples.

We would love to talk with you more about Jesus and his free gift of eternal life available to you. Please reach out to us here so we can talk more about this with you!

Why is Jesus such a big deal? Why do you need him? Well, the Bible teaches that God is holy. So holy, in fact, that he cannot even look upon sin (Habakkuk 1:13). In contrast, the Bible teaches that all human beings are sinful to our very core (Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:23). Moreover, it teaches us that sin deserves death – physical death and eternal death away from the presence of God. Thus, all people are separated from God and destined to eternity apart from him in a real place called hell (Isaiah 59:2, Matthew 7:21-23; 25:46.

Yet, because God loves all people so much (John 3:16) , He himself came to us in human form, called Jesus (Philippians 2:8), and He lived a completely holy and sinless life 2 Corinthians 5:21). Something that no other human being could ever do. He could do this because Jesus was also God! Jesus, therefore, did not deserve death since he had never sinned. Yet, he willingly gave his life up anyway, to be a sacrifice on our behalf (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Through the cross, God’s justice and love came together. God’s justice was upheld in that the just penalty, death, was paid for human kind’s sin. His love was demonstrated in that Jesus paid that penalty in our place! After he died Jesus was buried for three days, and then on the third day Jesus resurrected from the dead to defeat and conquer death (John 20:1-9)!!

Now, anyone who trusts in Jesus, believing in Him (Romans 10:9) and his finished work on their behalf, and repenting of their sin to turn to follow Him (Mark 1:15, Matthew 16:24), is forgiven and restored into relationship with God! This is a free gift of God’s immeasurable grace and is available to all the world (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 6:23)!

All of us who trust in Jesus get to join Him in His work of spreading this good news all over the world and teaching all those who believe how to follow Him daily (Matthew 28:19-20). One day, Jesus will return and will completely eradicate sin and death, and His people will dwell with him eternally! What a glorious day that will be (Revelation 21-22)!

Again, please reach out to us so that we might be able to help you come to know the King who died for you because He loves you so much!
